Race Specific Training
Training plans are customized based on your race and are provided for both the Marathon and the Half Marathon.
Group training runs will begin Saturday, June 14th. You can join the Saturday runs at any time or wait until your training begins based on your training plan and race date.
All group runs will start at the Brentwood Library. As a participant you are responsible for your own fluids and nutrition.
Racing during training allows you to determine your current level of fitness and adjust your training according. Depending on your race distance and date, below are four races that may fit into your schedule:
- Franklin Classic 5k/10k, September 1.
- Women’s Half Marathon*\, September 27
- Middle Half Marathon, October 11
- Turkey Trot 5k, November 27
