My mileage is currently higher that the first few weeks of the training schedule, what should I be running?
Keep you mileage at your current level until the training plan “catches up” with you. Also, if your plan calls for speed work and tempo runs, include them.
My training does not start for several weeks, can I run with the group until then?
Yes, join us any Saturday that fits your schedule. To prepare for the best training cycle, you should have a good running base. Marathoners should have a weekly base of 20 to 25 miles and half marathoners should have a base of 15 to 20 miles.
I don’t have a race scheduled, can I still participate?
Yes, group runs are open to anyone. Register on the web site for access to all of our running routes and cue sheets. Also, by registering, you will be able to join our email list. If you plan on joining us on a regular basis, we do ask that you make a contribution to one of our charity runners.
